Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team in the vibrant Tampa Bay area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in construction management, with a strong track record of successfully overseeing projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities from pre-construction planning to project closeout
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction projects
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor construction teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Clean background check and driving record
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
